How we look after your information.

This policy explains how JoyAtWork, trading as Joy@Work, handles personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us: for example, if you use the contact form, your name, email address, contact number, business name and size, type of service and message, or the contents of your email if you email us. Contact form submissions are emailed to admin@joyatwork.co.za and are not stored on the website.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, provide quotes, deliver the services you ask for and invoice you.
Client information
If you become a client, we may handle your business information and your own customers' information. We use it only for the work we do for you and keep it confidential. We work only in your own systems and software, using the access you give us, and we don't move your information into our own.
Travel arrangements
If we handle travel for you, we may process passport and ID details. We use them only to make the bookings you ask for, keep them securely and do not retain them longer than needed. We do not store your card or banking details.
No selling or sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only when you ask us to, when it is needed to do the work, or when the law requires it.
Storage and security
Enquiries and the records we need to run the service are stored on our secure, access-controlled private server in South Africa. Connections are encrypted and access is limited to Joy@Work. Your own business information stays in your systems, as described above.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information no longer than needed. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within one year. Client records are kept for as long as we provide the service, and afterwards only as long as the law requires (for example, financial records for five years under the Tax Administration Act), then securely deleted.
POPIA
We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Cookies and analytics
This website uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details for that purpose only. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may object to its use. Email us and we will respond.
